New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute of New Zealand (Established 1931)

The New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute of New Zealand (NZFBI) encourage technical training through field days amongst other incentives and provide qualifications for members of brigades and service-related organisations including our MOU with the NZ branch of Institute of Fire Engineers towards their qualifications.  The NZFBI is the technical arm of the United Fire Brigades' Association of New Zealand.  The NZFBI also advise on technical matters, ensuring the NZFBI Council's expertise is well utilised while promoting and safeguarding the interests of individual members and the wider collective.
