2024 Wagga Wagga Firefighter Championship

An invitation is extended to you and your Brigade to attend the 2024 Firefighter Championship

Even if you can’t get a team of four from your station, contact a station near you or just come along and you will be put into a team. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t competed before new teams are paired up with a mentor team who will show you how the events are run.

October 24, 2024 – October 26, 2024 

Travel: Wagga is situated half way between Sydney and Melbourne. 4.5 hours drive each way. 2 trains a day from either city arrive. there is also bus services and flights with REX and Qantas. Canberra also has direct flights from NZ, Canberra is 2.5 hours drive to Wagga. 

Accommodation: Cheap/good accommodation in Wagga Palm and Pawn Hotel, William Farrer Hotel. Rules Club, RSL Club, Big 4 caravan park has good cabins. 

Competitors will be supplied breakfast and lunch each day, there will be a dinner /function on the night of 26th held at the Rules club Fernliegh rd Wagga. This is directly across from the competition field. There is accommodation there defiantly the closest place to the ground. 

Friday night after competition we will host a torchlight parade of competing teams, with displays from emergency services, bands, food trucks and fireworks to finish the evening.
