National Volunteer Week resources

Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu – National Volunteer Week runs from 16-22 June 2024.

It's an opportunity for us to thank our Fire and Emergency volunteers, their whānau, employers and supporters and all those who work alongside them.

This year's theme is "Whiria Te Tangata – Weaving the people together".

This year we’ll be running a campaign across social media, radio, and news sites and encouraging the general public to thank our volunteers and raise awareness of their role in keeping our communities safe.

In the lead up to National Volunteer Week we'll publish resources to support you to take part.
