The Ministry of Health (MoH) has advised that COVID-19 vaccine stocks will be tight for the next five weeks. We are working closely with MedPro and the MoH to minimise any impact on our people.

All career personnel are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine now as part of Group 2 in the Government’s vaccine programme roll out. The vaccination requires two doses of the vaccine to be administered 21 days apart.

Recently our volunteer and career firefighters have dealt with a structure fire in Coatesville where a father and his young son were found deceased. It is tragic these two people died, and our thoughts are with their friends and family.

This week has seen the start of the MedPro vaccination hubs for Group 2 first and co-responders at different locations across the country. MedPro have several hubs across Te Hiku over the coming weeks, you can find the location of hubs including dates and times on the Portal(external link).
