This Operational Instruction is to ensure that Areas 3,4,5 and Auckland Rural District can sustain adequate operational staffing to maintain operational response to the community through this pandemic period and to mitigate the risk of infection across individual personnel, workgroups and stations.
Firefighter and Station Officer Vacancie
Station Officer, Ewen McRae has completed over 47 years’ with NZ Fire Service and Fire and Emergency. We will be celebrating Ewen’s retirement with morning tea on Wednesday, 24 February 1100 hours at Papatoeotoe Fire Station.
The voluntary water restrictions implemented by Fire and Emergency are now lifted. Crews can return to using reticulated water for appliance cleaning, training and hose and equipment testing.
Congratulations to the following who were successful in their quest for Across Area transfers resulting from Notice R1-144-2020. These transfers will become effective over the next month.
Annual health screening checks are due to commence shortly. All sessions will be held at Counties Manukau Fire Area in the VC Room downstairs.

Counties Manukau Volunteer Leaders Meeting The next Area Volunteer Leaders meeting will be held on Wednesday 04 November 2020 at Counties Manukau Area Headquarters, 15a Lambie Drive Papatoetoe, commencing at 1900 hours.
