Tairāwhiti District wish to advise of the passing of Manutūkē Volunteer Fire Brigade life member, William (Bub) Edwards.

Bub retired from the Manutūkē Volunteer Fire Brigade after 50 years of service to NZ Fire Service, Fire and Emergency New Zealand, the brigade and his community.

Funeral details:

Friday, 22 November 2024

Location: 42 Whakato Road, Manutūkē

Karakia will begin at 6pm, followed by poroporoaki (tributes and farewells).

Saturday, 23 November 2024

Location: Toko Toru Tapu Church, 73 Whakato Road, Manutūkē.

The service will begin at 11am, followed by the burial behind the church.

We understand that some whānau may not be able to attend due to the short time frame.
