Cyclone Gabrielle could bring significant severe weather to many regions of Aotearoa New Zealand. Cyclone Gabrielle is likely to impact across the North Island with severe gales and heavy rain forecast from Sunday through to Tuesday.

The National Emergency Management Agency has stood up its National Coordination Centre to support the response and coordinate any central Government support that may be required.  Our Fire and Emergency National Coordination Centre is active at NHQ, along with our Regional Coordination Centres in Te Hiku, Ngā Tai ki te Puku and Te Ūpoko.
