Fire and Emergency is working to provide a better environment and experience for all of our people, one that is safe, positive and inclusive.  Key foundations of this work are Te Tikanga Whanonga | Our Code of Conduct and our revised Bullying, Harassment and Victimisation Policy, which we launched in July.

We’re now asking for your feedback on another two draft policies that support the new standards of conduct and behaviour described in our Code of Conduct:

If you have questions about the draft policies, please check the questions and answers on the consultation page first, then ask your leader, email eketaumata@fireandemergency.nz or register to attend a drop-in session – details on the consultation page.

This work takes its lead from the Te Kawa Mataaho | Public Service Commission review completed in late 2022 and is being delivered by the Eke Taumata programme.
