State Service Commission LGBTQIA+ survey launched
Today the State Service Commission is launching WeCount 2019, a survey which takes a sector-wide view of LGBTQIA+ diversity.
This survey looks at whether members of our rainbow community, who work for the Public Service, feel comfortable being themselves at work. Information gathered will help inform the State Service Commission's future work to support inclusion of rainbow Public Service communities.
The survey is open to any self-identifying member of the LGBTQIA+ community who works for the NZ Public Service, including Fire and Emergency NZ people.
Participation in WeCount 2019 is voluntary and confidential. The survey is available online and is mobile-friendly, so it can be completed at a time and place that is most comfortable for anyone taking part.
Fire and Emergency NZ is committed to having a safe and healthy workplace where all our people feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. We support this sector-wide initiative, and encourage those who identify as a member of the rainbow community to take part.
