Upcoming Learning Station migration

There is an upcoming infrastructure migration planned for the Learning Station (LMS) managed by our vendor Cornerstone (SumTotal). As part of their commitment to enhanced performance, security, and scalability, they will be migrating our LMS application to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Planned Migration Timeline

The migration is scheduled to take place between 7 June 8:30pm and 9 June 12pm.

What to Expect

This is a backend infrastructure change — there will be no change to your LMS interface or site version.
The migration will move our LMS to Cornerstone’s Australia-based AWS data centre, ensuring improved performance and reliability.
Temporary downtime may occur during the maintenance window. We will keep you informed and provide real-time updates if needed.

Preparation in Progress

Our IT team is currently working with the vendor to ensure necessary technical requirements (such as IP whitelisting for SMTP and SFTP) are in place.
We are also reviewing the migration FAQ provided by Cornerstone to address any risks ahead of time. We are taking a proactive approach to ensure minimal disruption and a smooth transition. Further updates will follow as we receive more details from the vendor.
