Tom Mutton

Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade advises the passing of ex-member Tom Mutton.

Tom joined Lyttleton brigade in 1958 serving there before joining the career staff in Christchurch in 1962.

In 1969 he transferred to Tauranga, before transferring again to Wellington in 1971.

Tom retired from Wellington in 1995 at the rank of Divisional Officer, and joined Otaki VFB where he served until early 2003.

Tom's funeral will beheld in Otaki on Thursday 20th February at 1.30pm.

The plan is to take Tom on the old fire engine from 150B Mill Road, Otaki at 1.30pm walk  past the Fire Station to Harvey Bowlers Chapel in Rangatira Street. From there people can walk to the Otaki RSA, Raukawa Street for a celebration of his life.
