A technical issue has caused a problem with some operational personnel start dates in the HR/Payroll and SMS systems. The issue affects personnel who began operational (including ComCen personnel) duties before April 2000, when the current HR/Payroll system was introduced.

The dates are stored in the HR/Payroll system which manages all calculations using these dates. The result is incorrect information is being sent to SMS. The full impact and any resolution is currently being looked at by our technical specialists.
