Our ICT team is updating and replacing key network configurations and components at our Auckland and Wellington datacentres. This is to ensure our systems remain safe and secure.

To complete the work, there are some key changes coming up over the coming weeks that may impact some of our people. These changes will be at times where the impact on the business is minimised.

Outage: 24 May 10pm - 25 May 1am

  • Secure Remote access (i.e. Volunteer/Non-FENZ Devices) via Internet
    • No access during outage
  • smartstatus.fireandemergency.nz
    • No service during outage
  • smstrain.fireandemergency.nz
    • No service during outage
  • Skype for Business (Wellington)
    • All communication outside of Fire and Emergency’s network (ie with any third parties over the internet) will not work during the outage
  • MPAD, Staging and Production
    • No service during outage
