There’s still time to get involved and join us to represent Fire and Emergency at the 2019 Wellington Pride Parade next Saturday 16 March!

The annual Wellington Pride Parade is a colourful and inclusive reflection of the community which we serve and the cultural diversity within it. It’s a chance to bring our people together to celebrate our rainbow communities and this year, the theme of the parade is fire - ignite your passion for your community.

There are limited spots available to join us! If you want to take part and haven’t already registered, please contact Pride@fireandemergency.nz so that we know numbers and can email you with more detailed information about the day.

Participants are asked to meet on Tennyson Street, off Cambridge Terrace between 1630 and 1700 on Saturday 16 March. Wear uniform if you wish, and we’ll have a Fire and Emergency PRIDE t-shirts for those who have registered.

It will be a fun event, so we hope to see you there!
