What is it?

Fire and Emergency’s Satellite SIM Cards are being updated with new telephone numbers.

When is it happening?

This work is now underway. The new SIM Cards have been distributed to Region Business Services teams, who will provide them to current users. We ask that all users insert their new SIM Card into their satellite phone as soon as they receive them. This will help ensure that the system is working correctly. You will also need to notify any contacts that have your old satellite phone number, of the new updated number.

How will it affect my work?

The current SIM Card is no longer working, and you’ll require the new SIM Card to be inserted to continue to use your device.
