Sam Johnson

Shelly Beach Volunteer Fire Brigade wishes to advise, with incredible sadness, of the passing of Fire Fighter Sam Johnson. Sam was 19 years old, and joined us in June 2021, serving just over 3 years with us. It is nothing short of an honour having Sam as a part of our brigade; he had a level of maturity, quiet confidence and empathy that he brought to every situation. Sam had an exemplary attendance and call out record, and he demonstrated a great commitment to his community and was a fantastic team member. He will be greatly missed by us all.  

Sam’s funeral is at Windsor Park Baptist Church, 550 East Coast Road, Mairangi Bay, Auckland on Friday 10 January at 10am. Undress uniform, no caps or medals.
