Ahipara Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of ex-CFO Rodger Beatson.

Rodger was a founding member of the Brigade and served 58 continuous years, ending his service on his passing as Brigade Support.

Rodger will be lying in state at his family home at 50 Kakapo Street, Ahipara from 12 noon on Thursday 24 September.

A service for Rodger will be held at the Te Ahu Centre, Kaitaia at 11am on Saturday 26 September, followed by interment at Kaitaia Public Cemetery.

We ask Fire and Emergency personnel to wear full service uniform including medals (no caps), and assemble at the Kaitaia Fire Station at 10am for a briefing.
