Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of QFF Richard Taratoa on 14 July.
Richard was a Gold Star holder and Life Honorary member of Otaki Brigade, which he served for over 33 years, most recently as the Brigade Secretary.
Richard's funeral will take place on Sunday 18 July at 1pm at Rangiatea Church in Otaki. Undress uniform with medals, no caps.
Richard will be at Otaki fire station from 11.30am on Sunday before being escorted to the church.
