Our team deployed to New South Wales is now on the ground at Parkes, a town just over 300 kms inland from Sydney, which has been severely hit by floods.

The severe weather event in NSW is in its 62nd day and four people have died. It is the first time the NSW State Emergency Services has made a request for overseas assistance, due to the length and devastating effects of the floods.

Our team is operating as an incident management team and will assist in a variety of support roles including operations, planning, public information, logistics, resources, and air support.
