Online education webinar: Early trauma care – keeping it simple

Fire and Emergency has a partnership agreement with My Health Hub to deliver health/medical response-related topics to our people once a month in a webinar. So far, we have had two webinars – the first one was on ‘Helping people in high stress situations’, and the second on ‘Resuscitation and high-performance CPR’. The webinars are relatively interactive and have had great feedback.  

The third webinar was set for Monday, 13 February but was postponed due to Cyclone Gabrielle. The new date is Wednesday, 22 March between 7 and 8pm. The topic is ‘Early trauma – keeping it simple’ and will be presented by Mike Hunter, Consultant Surgeon, Trauma Medical Director, Dunedin Hospital. Read more. [PDF, 138 KB]

We encourage all operational personnel to register for the webinar.

They webinars are recorded and posted for viewing by anyone who wishes to watch them – usually about a week later. You will just need the password which is FENZCPD.
