New volunteer community engagement toolkit available

The Volunteerism Team has led the development of a new volunteer community engagement toolkit.

It’s designed to provide volunteers and those who support them with practical and easy-to-use resources for a range of different community engagements.

It includes resources on the following topics:

• Attracting volunteers 
• Understanding your community
• Employers
• Community engagement
• An introduction to Community Readiness and Recovery

The toolkit is mobile phone friendly and was developed with input from volunteers, Local Advisory Committee (LAC) members and subject-matter experts from National Community Readiness and Recovery, Volunteer Attraction and Recruitment and Employer Recognition.
