Board Chair Rebecca Keoghan has congratulated seven firefighters who have been recognised in the New Year’s Honours list.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand is proud to share that seven of our colleagues have been recognised in the 2026 New Year Honours List announced today.

These Honours reflect the incredible dedication and service our people give to their communities, every day. They also reinforce the trust communities place in Fire and Emergency and the strength of our organisation.
