The aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle and last month’s Auckland flooding is having a significant impact on the lives of many of our people across the North Island.

It is understandable that you, or those around you, may feel unsettled, concerned, or anxious at the moment.

It is important that we stay connected with each other. Listening is key when checking in with our whānau, friends and colleagues, and giving our full attention and empathy to them.

Please know there is support available and you can reach out to your Manager, Officer in Charge, Region Wellbeing Advisors, Union and Association Welfare Officers and Peer Supporters. They are working hard to be in contact with our people and provide support where required.
