Update 12 January 

Family advises that a celebration of life service for Kate will be held on Saturday 29th January 2022 , at the Harbour City Funeral Home, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu commencing at 11am.

The family are relaxed about the wearing of uniform – comfortable for anyone attending to make their own choice.

Vaccination Passes will be required.

Update:  Due to current Level 4 COVID restrictions, Kate’s funeral can no longer take place on Friday. Updated details will be advised on https://tributes.co.nz/ViewMyTribute.aspx?id=16589(external link) as soon as they are known.

People Branch, Rangiora Volunteer Fire Brigade and Paraparaumu Volunteer Fire Brigade advise the death of Kate Saunders on 14 August 2021.    

Kate was a valued member of the Volunteer Recruitment Team at National Headquarters, where she had worked since 2018.

Kate was also a valued former volunteer firefighter at Rangiora Volunteer Brigade and Paraparaumu Volunteer Brigade.
