John White
Palmerston North Fire Brigade advises of the passing of former Third Officer John David White.
John joined the Matamata Volunteer Fire Brigade on 6 August 1951, where he served his community until he joined the Palmerston North Fire Brigade as a career firefighter on 1 July 1957. He served for nearly 44 years until his retirement on 31 March 1995.
John’s immediate family will farewell him with a private service and cremation.
