Recent updates to the Portal have made single sign-on (SSO) work for personnel accessing the Portal on the Fire and Emergency NZ network. This means when you’re using a Fire and Emergency NZ computer and connected to the network, clicking the ‘Log In’ button will log you in automatically into the Portal.

We are also looking at removing the need to click the login button altogether, i.e. you will be logged in automatically to the Portal. Whilst we progress with improving SSO, you will still be required to log in to the Portal when:

a)       Using direct access, i.e. remotely - we are working on a solution to this and will provide an update.

b)      Accessing on a personal device, i.e. off the network
