Happy International Firefighters’ Day Whakanuia Ngā Kaipatuahi to all our firefighters and all those who support them.

We hope everyone is taking some time today to celebrate their achievements – if you do, please send us photos that we can share.

Tonight, the Sky City Tower will be lit up in the International Firefighters’ Day colours of red and blue as a way of celebrating and thanking you all.

It is also a way of remembering past firefighters who have died while serving our community and have dedicated their lives to protecting their communities.
