It is with great sadness we advise the sudden passing of Graeme Still (Wildfire Specialist) this morning.

Graeme was an incredibly valuable member of the Wildfire team and Fire and Emergency NZ family. He was extremely well known and highly regarded amongst firefighters and our forestry partners.  His passing has come as a great shock and will be felt across the organisation including partner agencies.

Graeme always had plenty of stories to share and free tips for anyone willing to listen, from his life experiences having worked around forestry and wildfire for many years.

Our thoughts go out to Graeme’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
