Get involved in New Zealand Sign Language Week
Welcome to New Zealand Sign Language Week, which runs from 21st-27th September. We encourage you to give it a go and learn some new words in sign.
New Zealand Sign Language Week is for everyone. The event celebrates one of New Zealand’s official languages and helps raise awareness of our Deaf community.
This year, NZSLW also coincides with International Week of the Deaf and the United Nations International Day of Sign Languages held on 23rd September.
