Waiheke Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of George Scott on Sunday 24 November 2024, aged 86.

George started his firefighting career on 4 October 1970 and retired on 13 December 2004. Most of his career was as a Firefighter and Station Officer in Auckland, ending as a Fire Safety Officer. He joined the Waiheke Volunteer Fire Brigade on 3 March 1997.

George's funeral is on Tuesday 3 December at 11am at Howick Funeral Home, 35 Wellington Street, Howick, Auckland.
