Fire and Emergency celebrates Royal Honours recipients

This morning, six of our people were awarded their Royal Honours by Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro at Government House in Wellington. 

Left to right - Mike Crosbie (Ngāruawāhia), Mac McNamara (Blenheim), Maurice Cowie (Omarama), Eileen Harvey-Thawley (Mapua), Brendan Butler (Tikokino) and Russell Postlewaight (Porirua) received their honours today.  

To all of our recipients, we thank you for your many years of service to your communities, both in your roles with Fire and Emergency and beyond.
