Exam partnership with the Institution of Fire Engineers

With New Zealand Fire Brigades Institute(external link) (NZFBI) exams upcoming this September, we'd like to remind you of our partnership with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). This agreement shares accreditation between both organisations for the qualifications you achieve.

In 2017 NZFBI entered a Memorandum of Understanding with the NZ branch of IFE. This agreement offers a suitable alternative arrangement where candidates wishing to sit examinations and earn the NZFBI Diplomas can do so within the IFE examination system while gaining an internationally accredited qualification within the fire industry.
