With the Easter break coming up, our payroll will need to be processed early to ensure everyone is paid before the break. This means that cut off for payroll will change from Wednesday 17 April to Tuesday 16 April at 12pm.

To ensure everyone is paid in time for Easter, all payroll documents need to be completed and sent to the payroll inbox – NHQPayroll@fireandemergency.nz no later than 12pm on Tuesday 16th April. This includes:

  • timesheets
  • new employee documents
  • changes to contracts, eg secondments
  • loss of income applications
  • changes to bank account details

If documentation is not submitted by 12pm Tuesday 16 April, then your pay will be processed in the following pay period on Wednesday 8 May 2019.

Please ensure payroll is notified of any employees leaving Fire and Emergency as soon as possible, along with their confirmed last day of work. This is to ensure an overpayment does not occur.
