Development of new MOU with St John progressing well

Since our last update on the review of the MOU Fire and Emergency has with Hato Hone St John, work has continued and we have an update to give everyone on our progress.

Acting National Manager Response Capability Ken Cooper says the high level key themes that have emerged during the review include:

• Training
• Classification of incidents
• Communications with Comcen
• Our overall response approach

These themes have come from months of meetings with our Medical Response Focus Group and feedback sought from brigades, our Unions and Associations, as well as input from Hato Hone St John.

“We now have the document in draft format, and it’s with all the key stakeholders for feedback and review,” Ken Cooper says.
