Dave Woodward

Te Hiku Fire Region wish to advise the passing of Ex Senior Fire Commander Dave Woodward, on Tuesday morning this week.

Dave rose through the ranks in Auckland, SO, SSO, Fourth Officer, Acting Third Officer, Senior Divisional Officer, Third Officer, DCFO, and then Senior Fire Commander. Dave then went to NHQ as Chief Executive and later Director of Planning from where he retired.

Dave’s funeral will be held at 1100hrs, Thursday 29th October at the St Columba’s Catholic Church, 50 Rifle Range Rd, Dinsdale, Hamilton.

Fire and Emergency personnel attending Dave’s Funeral are requested to wear Dress Uniform (no caps).
