Colin Strickland

Otaki Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of retired SFF Colin Strickland on Friday 27 November.

Colin served in Otaki VFB from January 1972 until April 1984.

He served concurrently as a career firefighter in Wellington Fire Brigade (NZFS) from August 1973 until June 1994, taking early retirement during restructure.

He then served a couple of periods in Te Horo VRFF between June 1998 and August 2007.

A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at Waikanae Funeral Home, 17–22 Parata St, Waikanae this Wednesday 2 December at 11.00 am.
