This week (25 September-1 October) is New Zealand Chinese Language Week (NZCLW).

NZCLW is designed to increase Chinese language learning in New Zealand, and seeks to bridge the cultural and linguistic knowledge gap between China and New Zealand by delivering fun and practical initiatives that assist Kiwis to learn Chinese.

At Fire and Emergency, we know it is important to be able to communicate with as many of our communities as possible.

To best support communities whose first language is not English, that may have recently moved here, and may not be used to New Zealand-style homes and kitchens, we have created resources in a range of languages, including Chinese.

This includes the following fire safety video available publicly on our YouTube channel.
