Update as at 3pm, 11 November 2019: 

Full Public Folder access has been restored.

What’s happening

Fire and Emergency people were unable to access their Public Folder emails earlier today.

The issues people were experiencing included:

  • Public Folder mailboxes are not displaying in Outlook
  • When users click on their Public Folder icon their computer freezes

This was caused by a scheduled piece of work to move our Public Folder emails into the Cloud, which took longer to complete than first anticipated.

What we’re doing about it

Our ICT Infrastructure Team rolled back this change, which restored access to the Public Folders.
