Paeroa Volunteer Fire Brigade advise the passing of CFO Bill Rackham (QSM) on Sunday 22 January 2023.

Bill joined the brigade on 27 September 1967 and has served as CFO for over 32 years. Bill was awarded a QSM in 2014 for his years of service to his brigade and community.

A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Paeroa War Memorial Hall, Normandy Road on Wednesday 1st February at 11am. Full dress uniform, no caps. Fire personnel to meet at Paeroa Fire Station from 9.30am.

Bill will be leaving Paeroa Fire Station at 10.15am by way of vintage fire engine, personnel to walk behind to the hall. There will be refreshments available at the station after the service.
