Bernard Bryan (Bernie) Sundgren

The Waikanae Volunteer Fire Brigade wishes to announce with sadness the passing of LHM Bernard Bryan (Bernie) Sundgren on 20 June 2025. Bernie also served three of his 26 years' service with the Paraparaumu Brigade.

A service to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Friday 27 June at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at https://tinyurl.run/yf98KY(external link)

Undress uniform with medals and no caps is requested for those attending the service.
