Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of former Ohakune Chief Fire Officer and Brigade Life Member Ben Goddard QSM on Wednesday 23 September.

Ben's funeral will be at Ohakune Primary School, Arawa Street, Ohakune on Tuesday 29 September at 11am.

Before the service, Ben will be driven around town escorted by a fire appliance.

Following the service, when Ben is taken to the hearse, an honour guard will line the path. Please wear uniforms, caps and medals for the honour guard.

Ben will remain there and later be taken to Whanganui for cremation.
