Turua Volunteer Fire Brigade sadly wishes to advise of the passing of past member Kimbo Stirling on 3 June 2025. Kimbo served as a firefighter with Turua Brigade from August 2018 to October 2021. He was a valued and well-respected member of the brigade.

Consultation now open for our updated Remuneration Policy
Fire and Emergency aims to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all our people. To achieve this, it is important we have clear policies and transparent decision-making processes. We are seeking your feedback on proposed changes to our draft Remuneration Policy. These changes include consolidating all relevant information into one policy (instead of needing to review multiple documents), changes to higher duties allowances and proposing an approach to accelerated progression.
