This morning Piki Thomas led a whakatau to formally welcome the recently appointed National Managers and Executive Assistants. These roles are permanent appointments following the tranche 3 decisions earlier this year.
Marton Volunteer Fire Brigade advises the passing of retired member Lex Sligo. Lex spent 31 years with the Marton brigade. Lex passed last weekend and a funeral was held on Wednesday 27th May.
Paraparaumu Volunteer Fire Brigade advises the passing of Ex DCFO Alan Watt.
Alan served in both the Wellington and Paraparaumu Brigades. He also served with the MOT CAD Rescue Fire Service
Alan passed away earlier in the week and his funeral was held on Friday 29th May 2020.
