The Wainuiomata Volunteer Fire Brigade sadly advise of the passing of Life Honorary Member retired Station Officer John Pellew on Friday 20 September 2024. John joined the Brigade in 1978 and retired in 1997 where he was made a Life Honorary Member of the Brigade.
The Paraparaumu Fire Brigade sadly advise of the passing of retired member Bernard Faull. Bernard passed away on Sunday 22 September 2024 in Wellington Hospital. Bernard's service started with the Toko Volunteer Fire Brigade in 1978, moving through the Putaruru Volunteer Fire Brigade and Waitara Volunteer Fire Brigade.
The Kumeu Fire Brigade advises of the passing of Life Honorary and Founding Member Ross Kinghorn. Ross dedicated an extraordinary 32 years to the Kumeu Community and was instrumental in the early days. Rest in peace, Ross. Your contribution, spirit and humour will never be forgotten.

Martin served with the Kaniere Brigade from 1965 to 1996. A private family service has been held.
