Apply for the 2017/18 Pacific Islands Languages Grant by 7/12/2017

The Pacific Islands Languages Grant is available to all Fire and Emergency NZ people (urban and rural operational and non-operational, paid and volunteer personnel) considering or already undertaking study in any Pacific Islands Language.

The grant is an initiative to help Fire and Emergency to work more effectively with Pacific populations and to benefit the personal development of the recipients.

The grant, of up to $5,000 a year, is available to help with tuition fees, resources and operational cover (but not overtime) directly related to courses held during the current financial year (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018). Successful applicants are required to provide a brief report on how the grant has been of benefit to the individual and/or organisation on completion of their study.
