PBI New Zealand Firefighters National Golf Tournament
The Napier and Hastings Fire Brigades are hosting the PBI New Zealand Firefighters National Golf Tournament at the Hastings Golf Club commencing Tuesday 25th March and finishing Friday 28th March 2025.

If you HAVE NOT played in our National tournament for the last two years and wish to play, please contact us, so that you can be added to our mailing list to receive all the necessary registration forms and information updates.
To be eligible to play in this tournament:
- Eligibility is be confined to serving members of Fire and Emergency New Zealand or Industrial, Auxiliary Brigades, & NZ Defence Force Fire Brigades
- Non serving members of Fire Brigades with a minimum of five years' service, life members, and any individual approved by the National Golf Executive
- All golfers must have an affiliated handicap.
Our National tournament is run as a non-profit event with any proceeds going back into future events and a portion being donated back to a selected charity (ies).
From last year’s tournament a donation of $10,000.00 was made to Te Kiwi Maia(external link).
- Te Kiwi Maia look after First Responders (Fire, Police, Ambulance, and NZ defence Forces)“The Courageous Kiwi”, who, as a result of their role in safeguarding and caring for New Zealanders, have physical and psychological injuries.
- Te Kiwi Maia provide rehabilitation, recovery and respite to our people.
- They enable our people and their families to continue healthy and positive lives.
