UFBA/FRFANZ Conference 2018
Fire and Emergency had a strong presence at the United Fire Brigades Association’s (UFBA) 140th Conference, held with the Forest and Rural Fire Association of New Zealand (FRFANZ), from 16 to 18 November in Wellington.
Around 500 delegates connected with representatives from 13 different business areas across our highly visual exhibition stand over the three days, and outside the venue at two new trucks.
In the main theatre, our Chair Paul Swain joined the Minister for Volunteering and Community Hon. Peeni Henare, and FRFANZ Chair Kevin Ihaka, to open the conference on Friday 16 November.
On Saturday 17 November, an interactive presentation by 11 Fire and Emergency leaders updated delegates on a range of hot topics. This was followed by a 60 minute facilitated question-and-answer session with our Strategic Leadership Team.
