Managing inappropriate behaviour and conduct policy
https://portal.fireandemergency.nz/documents/managing-inappropriate-behaviour-and-conduct-policy/This policy sets out Fire and Emergency’s approach towards managing behaviour that is not in line with Te Tikanga Whanonga | Our Code of Conduct (the Code) and our other policies.
People Leaders: If you witness someone in your team/brigade behaving in a way that is not in line with the Code, or you are alerted to poor behaviour, you should:
- Seek advice from People Advisory. They understand this policy and employment legislation. They’ll support you to make sure the policy is applied correctly, help you to understand the steps you should take, and answer your questions about the process.
- Read the Managing inappropriate behaviour and conduct policy to understand the processes and options that will be followed to deal with alleged breaches.
